Powderface - August 15, 2013

This was the "one and only" hike for this summer.  The flood of 2013 washed out many trails, and kept us busy helping with clean up in our communities.  We were able to get a few together for a hike in August.  It felt so good to get out there!

 This part of the trail was washed out from the flood.

 The following pictures were taken at Elbow Falls.  The whole picnic area was washed away in the flood.

 The bridge at Allen Bill Pond was completely washed away on the east end.  Allen Bill Pond is no longer there.  It is now part of the river.
